- Students can only have 2 absences for Summer School. Students will be dropped on their third absence. Students are responsible for getting to class on time. Three tardies count as one absence.
- Teachers, please discuss with students the wisdom of not being absent during summer school.
- Excessive tardies may be grounds for being dropped from summer school.
- To earn five (5) credits a students must meet three conditions:
- Attend class
- Earn a passing grade
- Meet teacher requirements
- Lunch/snacks will be sold from 10:15 – 10:30 a.m. in the cafeteria and snack bar “B”.
- Improper behavior will not be tolerated.
Grounds for suspension or expulsion, (Ed. Code 48900) -- All students are held accountable for their actions to any part of Ed. Code 48900. All regular year school rules are in effect and must be followed.
- Dress Code is strictly enforced. Students not following the dress code will be sent to the office.
- Teachers please review the dress code and post it in the classroom.
- Students are not allowed to hang around campus if they do not have class. All students are to exit campus after teacher dismissal of the 1:20 p.m. bell.
- SVHS is a CLOSED campus. You may not leave school until the end of your day or unless you have checked out through the Summer School Office.
- In order to enroll in Adult Ed. you must be 16 years of age and enrolled in 2 summer school classes.
- Reminder that summer school is in session from Monday through Friday. Monday, July 5th is a Holiday.
