Message from our New Principal: Mr. Pratt

Dear Sierra Vista Staff, Students, Parents, and Friends

What an honor and great pleasure that has bestowed upon me in becoming one of your newest members. Sierra Vista High has enjoyed a very rich history of both academic success and being a beacon of excellence. It has been through your strong dedication, hard work, and community partnership that you have been able to achieve your excellent standard. I am humbled to have this opportunity to join a winning team.

My career in education has allotted me the opportunity to serve as a teacher in both middle and high school settings. Ranging from South Carolina, Los Angeles, Santa Ana, and Phoenix, AZ.

My administrative career started at a high school in San Diego and later here at Baldwin Park USD at Holland Middle School for 4 years. Most recently serving as the proud principal at North Park High School for over 4 ½ years.

I enthusiastically embrace the opportunity to serve as instructional leader in an effort to ensure our students are prepared with 21st century skills. We play a vital role as they transition through high school, post -secondary education, and/or career. Our purpose as parents, teachers, support staff, and administration will be to encourage our students in being active learners. I am confident that through this close collaborative partnership, we can make Sierra Vista safe, fun, and a better place to grow and learn.

Respectfully,

H. Vincent Pratt

Interim Principal
