*Third year of Science for 11th grade students:

In accordance with school policy, all 11th-grade students shall be required to complete a supplementary academic year in Science. This policy has been instituted as a consequential measure aligned with State Testing requirements. The additional year of study serves to ensure comprehensive preparedness and proficiency among students to excel in the State Testing examinations. By adhering to this policy, SVHS underscores its commitment to optimizing the academic achievements of its student body, thereby upholding the standards of excellence and scholastic integrity.

 

CREDITS ARE GRANTED

On the basis of the number of class periods per semester. A student receiving a passing grade receives 5 credits per class per semester.

 

CREDIT LIMITATIONS

  • Office Aide & School Aide: Up to only 20 Credits
  • Physical Education: Up to only 40 Credits applied toward Graduation 
  • Up to only 60 Credits applied toward Graduation:
    • Combined areas of Work Experience Education & Regional Occupation Education (ROP)
    • Adult Education (Vocational or Electives) courses
