NFL Pro Todd Gurley delivered an exclusive motivational talk in the Dons' gym to more than 100 students from the varsity football team and girls flag football team. The open conversation encouraging students to pursue excellence through discipline, balance, training, and the power of surrounding themselves with a positive circle of friends. He also highlighted the importance of mental strength and gratitude throughout his career.
Following the talk, Gurley joined the athletes for a meet-and-greet, where he posed for photos, met with Sierra Vista football coach Arthur Ball and girls flag football coach Monica Peters, and even joined flag football players for a few lighthearted social media dances. He also presented the coaches with exclusive Old Spice product lines, signed several footballs for the school, and graciously took photos with teachers, staff, and the administration team.
Later, Gurley met with an additional 275 student-athletes from Sierra Vista’s fall sports programs, dedicating more than two hours on campus to inspire nearly 375 students in total.
The event was arranged in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club and supported by Old Spice, the NFL, and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
