Greetings to you all! My name is Elizabeth Pitman and I will be your teacher, supporter, go-getter for the school year! Here is a little information about myself. I am from a small town, maybe the size of Disneyland (LOL) and I moved to southern California in 2003 to attend college/play soccer in hopes of graduating and returning back to my hometown. There was a change of plans and a different direction in my life that kept me here. After graduating from Whittier College, I found a teaching job at a private school in southern California where I taught for 9 years, until this position opened up at SVHS. This will be my 8th year being a DON and my 16th year total in the teaching profession. Besides teaching and truly having passion about my profession, I also love the great outdoors, watching sports (my teams are: The Dallas Cowboys & The Oklahoma Sooners), exercising, being with family, eating cheese pizza and Oreos (in moderation of course ;)), and making people laugh. Recently, I have taken on some new hobbies. They are: juggling and playing the ukulele. Enough about me! I CANNOT wait to get to know YOU.
